Pitch Script

Structured talking points for approaching a business owner cold or following up on a flyer.

The 15-Second Hook

Walk in during a quiet moment — not during a rush. Introduce yourself, smile, and lead with the value:

"Hi, I'm [Name] — I place claw machines in local businesses like yours at zero cost to you. You earn a percentage of every play, we handle all the maintenance, and it drives foot traffic. Do you have 2 minutes to see if it's a fit?"

Why it works: You lead with what's in it for them (free revenue, no hassle), not what you're selling.

What the Location Owner Gets

Zero investment. You provide the machine, handle servicing, restocking, and any repairs. They never spend a dollar.

Passive income. Typically 25–30% of gross revenue, paid monthly. A single machine in a good location earns them $50–$200/mo with no effort.

Longer dwell time. Customers stick around to watch or play — which means more time to spend money at the business.

Kid magnet. Families are more likely to choose a location that has entertainment for their kids.

Handling Common Pushback

"We don't have the space."
"Our machine footprint is about 24" × 24" — roughly the size of a coat rack. Can I show you a photo? We're flexible on placement."
"Won't customers complain if they lose?"
"We calibrate win rates to keep players engaged — that's our job. If there's ever an issue, you call me and I handle it. You're never on the hook."
"Who handles maintenance?"
"I do, 100%. If something goes wrong, I'm there within [your response time]. You never touch the machine."
"We already tried one and it didn't work."
"I'd love to hear what happened — often it's the prize mix or placement. I'm confident I can show you better results. Let's try it for 60 days."

Closing the Conversation

Don't leave open-ended. Offer a low-commitment next step:

"I can drop off a one-pager for you to look over. If you're interested, I'll bring the machine by on [specific day] at no cost — no paperwork until you've seen it running and like what you see."

If they say yes to a trial: get a date on the calendar before you leave. If they need to think: set a follow-up time explicitly — "Can I check back Thursday?"

What to Give Them

Hand them a printed flyer from the Flyer Generator tab — customized with your LLC name, contact info, and a clean professional look. It gives them something to reference after you leave and signals that you run a serious operation.

You can also email them a PDF of the Revenue Share Agreement so they can review the terms before committing.
